We begin on Friday at noon.
Where: Hayes Valley Art Works.
When: March 18, 2016, 12-5pm
What to expect: One of our special guest instructors and a dear friend of mine, Matthew Stephens, will join me for Introduction to Permaculture. We will present the principles, ethics, and design strategies that are used around the globe to create sustainable agriculture and living systems. The class is also listed on our website as a stand-alone “Introduction to Permaculture”, so it is quite likely that others will be joining us for the day. More info →
What to bring: Any and all devices including a camera (if possible), a pen, a cup or water bottle and anything you would like to share. Wear outdoor shoes or boots, bring work gloves if you have ’em (I have some), any favorite hand tools or other resources you would like to have on hand. Oh, please be sure to wear layers as we will outside a lot.
We provide: Classroom and materials, hand and other garden tools, hot drinks, water and snacks and some food stuff.
If you haven’t already, please join our group THE NEW TEAM on Facebook, and introduce yourself to everyone else. Once we have all of us on there, we hope to use it as supplemental tool for group discussion and communication during and in-between our classes.
We will also be using this website, please note the category called Student Resources.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will see you at Laguna Gate!
