Who: San Francisco Bee-Cause and 49 Farms cordially invites everyone to join them in building honey bee habitat!

What: Help us make an urban food forest for San Francisco’s honey bees. Put your muscles to work building, planting, watering for San Francisco’s Apis mellifera (the honey bee’s scientific name)

Where: The Bee Farm, 3299 San Bruno Ave, San Francisco

When: Saturday, February 20, 12-4 PM

What to expect: Help build an urban food forest for honey bees by working with soil, planting and potting flowers, digging, watering, constructing beds. The honey bees are friendly and the general public does not interact with the hives.

What to bring: Sunglasses/hat, wear layers and a bring a water bottle.  

We provide: gloves, hand and other garden tools, water and snacks
